If you look at the problems caused by the lock-down to fight the Corona pandemic as a "stress test" for precious metal traders, then Auvesta has passed it excellently.
The well-known German trade magazine Focus Money writes (special tangible assets issue / April 2020 on p. 11) about one of the largest and most renowned precious metal dealers in Germany: "The management and owners of [...] have decided to close the precious metals online shop from 23 March up to and including 25 March. The shop will then open again, but with a very limited product selection ... As [...] most precious metal dealers did in March.”
Auvesta, on the other hand, massively increased the stocks in the distribution warehouses to more than four times the usual volume at the end of February and was therefore able to meet the delivery requests of the depot customers without restrictions, even during the crisis. Restrictions were only imposed on customers outside Germany due to import bans imposed by various European countries and a reduction in the value of individual shipments abroad by the insurance companies of the value logistics companies. But Auvesta has no influence on that.
In the meantime, the refineries have resumed deliveries to the dealers, but it will still take some time until the refineries can process the accumulated orders, i.e. until any desired quantity can be delivered in any desired bar size.
But it is already clear that Auvesta has been able to deliver continuously and in doing doing so has convincingly proven its special position as a reliable partner for its customers.
